Moira and I founded ABM Training in 2008. Together we have a combined experience of 47 years.
We have expanded our business over the years and are very proud of our dynamic and dedicated team!
I love to travel and visit other countries, expanding my knowledge of different cultures and I am a dedicated Peter Andre fan!
I have many years’ experience in supporting children and adults with learning difficulties and disabilities. I also worked for other Training Providers before co - founding ABM Training in 2008.
I am very proud of what ABM has achieved over the years and thanks to the passion and expertise of our fantastic team we have supported thousands of learners to achieve a recognised qualification and progress in their chosen careers.
On a personal level I am a Mum to 3 beautiful daughters/stepdaughters and ‘Granny’ to my gorgeous dog Leo. I love travelling and have fallen in love with Las Vegas…might be due to a few lucky wins! I am a massive George Michael and Andy Murray fan.
I joined ABM Training in 2017 as Head of Contracts and Finance, but have worked in the work based learning sector since 1983.
My children are now all grown up and left home some time ago, and I have a granddaughter – Celeste. Being a Nanna is so much easier than being a Mum. I don’t worry about the house being a mess with her toys everywhere, spilt drinks, biscuit crumbs littering the floor.
My goal is to see ABM become the training provider that the Directors have always aspired to be.
I am student centered, solution focused and determined to make a difference. I love a challenge and I am driven by change!
In my spare time I like to make memories, bespoke jewellery and creative items. I also volunteer at a local nightclub for adults with learning disabilities which I look forward to each fortnight. I am obsessed with stationary and post it notes and my life goal is to win the lottery!
I have been with ABM Training UK Ltd since the beginning and still get excited when the postman turns up with certificates for the many apprentices we have.
I love to spend time with my two sons and our additional member of the family, Maisie the Boxer.
My favourite past time is to sit back on the sofa with Maisie and a glass of wine in hand. If I am not doing that, then I am taking Maisie out on Boxer Play Dates, running my sons and their friends around, or working hard to ensure that our apprentices get the top service we promise them.
I am passionate about my work and believe you only get out what you put in.
As ABM Training’s Business Development and Marketing Manager I am passionate about driving business and performance forward and providing an exceptional service to our customers. I have worked within Learning and Development for 12 years now and enjoy how diverse the sector is and the challenges that it presents.
A busy working mum/step mum of 3 boys who certainly keep me on my toes and when I’m not being a mum I love nothing more than relaxing with a cheeky G&T…!
I joined ABM Training's Marketing team in 2017 as thier apprentice!
Outside of work, I enjoy going out with my friends where we usually find ourselves shopping, lunching and drinking prosecco! There are not many things I dislike, apart from early mornings and being bored!
In the future I can only hope to continue as a valued asset to ABM Training, learning whilst broadening my knowledge with help from the experts surrounding me.
I started with ABM in 2017, overseeing the Health and Safety. I love the caring, friendly and family feel of the business alongside the professionalism.
I love to be kept busy both at work and home, my three children ensure this is always the case. I dislike having too much time on my hands!
I have recently completed my NESBOSH. My aspiration for ABM is to ensure that a culture of health and safety is evident throughout, this in turn helps to ensure that ABM are one of the best training providers in the UK!
I have been in involved in the Health & Social Care Sector since the early 1990’s
I am a committed and enthusiastic person with a wealth of knowledge and skills and committed to continuing my personal and professional development which is always on-going. I am able to adapt my delivery to accommodate learner styles and level of understanding. I encourage all learners to allow their individualism to shine through, so they can all achieve their maximum potential whatever that may be.
I enjoy challenges and am willing to go the extra mile to get the job done!
I have been working at ABM Training for 5 years and I thoroughly enjoy my job. I love to see people achieve their goals! I have recently visited New York and enjoyed the hustle and bustle of being in the ‘Big Apple’ and most enjoyed visiting Grand Central Station. Next on my travel bucket list is Tokyo. I really want to visit sites such as Sky Tree and Jingu Gaien Maidenhair Tree-lined street.
I always make time to read books and enjoy watching films. My favourite collection is Star Wars (original trilogy).
I have been with ABM Training for 3 years as Functional Skills tutor. I enjoy holidays abroad and so far my favourite destination is the Bahamas and my travel goal is to go to South Africa. As well as travelling abroad, I also appreciate and enjoy the British landscapes. My favourite landmark is Stone Henge. I enjoy reading and my favourite book is the Railway Children.
