This Level 4 Children Young People and Families Practitioner apprenticeship is all about the complex needs that children, young people and families often present as they negotiate complicated lives. Participants may be working in a variety of settings: childrens’ homes; residential special schools; or secure childrens’ homes. We focus on the ‘6 Cs’ and how these guide best practice interventions, safeguarding and growth. Participants complete the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare as a mandatory part of the course and when learners need it we include additional English and maths support too.
Learning is fully compliant with the standards set our by Skills for Care as well as the rigours of the Care Quality Commission. Our teaching and learning is rated GOOD by OFSTED and 85% of our learners achieve merit or distinction grades at end point assessment.
