Welcome to ABMs CPD and Short Courses programme. Our L&D is designed to support the development of core skills across a range of key themes and topics. We support participants in the acquisition of new skills in Health and Social Care (from the ‘basics’ through to Care Home management); Leadership and Management; Teaching and Learning.
Each CPD or Short Course is available as either a ‘training room’ or a ‘virtual classroom’. Training rooms comprise up to five hours of tutored training. Virtual classrooms are normally three hours in duration and delivered via Zoom, Teams or Starleaf. Both are led by expert trainers with extensive real life experience in their field.
All of our all of our courses can be assessed using ABMs suite of RISE 360 e-learning modules. Programme participants access these on their own PCs, laptops, tablets or phones once the training is completed. Each module contains a number of ‘chapters’ with interactive exercises, videos and quiz style questions. Final assessments take the form of 10 part knowledge tests.

CPD for Teaching Assistants
These CPD programmes are designed for schools who are unable to participate in our T.A apprenticeship programme but want to offer core training to Teaching Assistant staff. We have a full range of standalone courses including:

E-Learning RISE Modules
ABM Training offers a wide range of custom RISE e-learning modules. Each module comprises 2 hours of learning and assessment and can be used as standalone, self led, e-learning. Alternatively our RISE modules can be used by you or your training company as ‘end of session’ revision and assessment.
RISE modules are fully SCORM compliant and can be directly embedded into your LMS or e-portfolio.
