ABM Training is a specialist training provider with a great track record in the delivery of Early Years and Young People apprenticeships. Over the past 13 years we’ve trained more than 3000 employees. We offer a full suite of qualifications and apprenticeships that are funded through the Governments apprenticeship levy scheme. ABM Early Years and Young People apprentices not only complete an apprenticeship they gain formal qualifications and English and maths awards.

We deliver all of this using the Apprenticeship Levy scheme. As an employer you’ll pay no more than £300 towards the cost of training your staff. Government will contribute up to £5700.
85% of ABM apprentices achieve either merit or distinction grades and we were fully inspected by OFSTED in September 2021. OFSTED’s detailed report concluded that we are a GOOD provider in everything that we do.

ABM Early Years & Young People Apprenticeships
Children Young People and Families Practitioner Apprenticeships
This Level 4 apprenticeship is all about the complex needs that children, young people and families often present as they negotiate complicated lives. We focus on the ‘6 Cs’ and how these guide best practice interventions, safeguarding and growth. Participants complete the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare as a mandatory part of the course and when learners need it we include additional English and maths support too.
Children, Young People and Families Manager Apprenticeships
This Level 5 apprenticeship programme delivers all the leadership and management skills needed to run a successful and dynamic service team. We look at theories and styles of leadership, performance management, the role of continuous professional development in the context of equality and inclusion, safeguarding and compliance. This is a stretching and challenging apprenticeships drawing on a wide range of specialist topics and key themes.

ABM Training: Support Services for Employers
We support our apprenticeship employers with a full range of wrap around services. Here’s our top four:
Recruitment and Early Years and Young People Apprenticeships
At ABM training we offer a free recruitment service to help you find and attract new employees as apprentices. Successful applicants work for you and join one of our four care apprenticeship programmes. We have an expert team on hand to help you with job descriptions, person specifications, candidate attraction, shortlisting and interviewing. Once we’ve helped you with all that we’ll sort our your funding so that your new employee can start their apprenticeship programme.
Funding: Early Years and Young People Apprenticeships
We’re a specialist apprenticeship training provider and listed on the Governments Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (RoATP). We can help you set up your own digital accounts so that you can access apprenticeship levy funding. We cam also help you secure funding from other employers who have unspent apprenticeship levy funds available through a range of Levy Transfer schemes.
In effect our training programmes are extremely cost effective. Often, as the employer, you’ll pay no more than £150. Apprentices pay no fees at all. Government funding picks up at least 95% of your training costs. We sort all this out for you.
Flexible, Fit for Purpose Training
We’re we organise our training to make best use of digital and online e-learning (super flexible) whilst combing this with more traditional 1-2-1 coaching and assessment practices. Feedback from learners, employers and OFSTED is really GOOD. We make learning engaging, fun, effective and impactful. Contract Management and Reporting
How do you know if your employees are being well trained, learning new skills and applying those in role at work ? How do you know if your apprentices are on target and likely to complete their programme on time ? What grade will they get ?
At ABM Training we monitor learning progress weekly. We also ask apprentices and employers to provide regular feedback and we observe learners in the workplace so that we can assess the impact of the training we deliver.
Best of all we send you regular, simple to follow, learner progress reports so that you too can see wether your apprentices are performing well. All part of our contract management service.
