About Faye
Faye started her career in the Home Office in London in 1991. After a year she was asked to go and work in the Permanent Secretary’s office in an administrative management role. Faye then moved to a management role within the Department for Culture, Media and Sport in the Ministerial Correspondence Team. Following two further promotions she finally became the Private Office Business Manager where she had contact with government ministers on a day-to-day basis.
She managed a team of 14 ensuring all finance and administration for the Minister’s ran smoothly – something Faye is passionate about. Faye will tell you that she LOVES Administration and Business Management – she believes without good administration no organisation can run smoothly! After spending 14 years in London Faye decided to work closer to home and secured the position of Bursar at Hoo St Werburgh Primary School. After two years Faye was offered promotion to School Business Manager at Kingfisher Primary School where, she managed everything to do with the running of the school that was not attached to the curriculum.
After having her son William and twins Alexander and Rose, Faye set up her own successful business working from home for 3 years until she was offered the opportunity to work for ABM, initially for a month. 5 years later she is now working full time for us and is in her element in her role as Onboarding Officer, helping new learners start their learning journey.
