About Gilly
Gilly’s back ground was originally within the financial services sector working for the Woolwich PLC and Barclays Bank, later qualifying as an Independent Financial Adviser and training and supporting new starters to the sector! She ended up enjoying the training and mentoring more that her full time job and made the jump to the Learning & Development sector in 2003.
She has worked within Learning & Development and Further Education for the last 18 years, firstly for Kent County Council & Key Training Services supporting young people not in education, employment or training, she then took a role with the Royal British Legion supporting adults with long term health conditions retrain and get back into the work place and then became involved in writing and delivering training across the Health and Social Care sector and then progressing to working within apprenticeships, assessing and mentoring for Housing and Care 21, an opportunity to step into the world of Leadership & Management within Learning and Development opened the door to a position at Hanover Housing.
Gilly joined ABM Training in 2015 and assumed the role of Business Development Manager, Gilly loves to talk and is the go to person for our clients when they are looking to find out the options that are available for their staff. Gilly loves any opportunity where she can network and speak with employers about the endless opportunities within the world of apprenticeships and Learning and Development !
